Our post, Backlash, was listed in the 162nd Carnival of Personal Finance: Baseball edition.

  • Rationing Cards – A Pictorial Journey Down Nostalgia Lane at Broke-Ass Student. I love financial history. This is an interesting post containing memorabilia from the 1940s.
  • Should I Keep My Gas Guzzling Vehicle? at the Money Answer Guy. Points out that trading in an SUV, which have gone down in value, for a gas-saving car, which have become more expensive, is probably not worth it. • Tips for Developing a Net Worth Mentality at The Happy Rock. This guest post does a good job of summing up my basic attitudes about personal finance and saving. In a nutshell, think long term and save for the future.
  • Average Durations of Previous Bear Markets at Dividend Growth Investor. There is a good table listing average duration of bear markets over the last century and number of years needed after the bear markets to break even.
  • Stages Of Wealth Accumulation at Harvesting Dollars. This is another good post talking about the long term outlook for personal finance.
  • Don’t Make Money Blogging at the Shark Investor. I agree that there are lots of blogs that are very repetitive. I hope I do not have one of them!

My picks just scratch the surface. Please visit the carnivals and see what else you might find.
